Set aside regular time to pray for yourself, the mission, and your teammates. Recruit a prayer team by specifically asking people to commit to pray for you before, during, and after the trip.

Share your story and invite other people to be part of this mission with you. Some people can't go on mission trips, but they are excited to give so that you can go.

Recruit a mentor

Identify someone that you respect and look up to who has been on a mission trip before and ask them to meet with you, to guide you, to be someone you can talk to!
